Let’s get lost on the way home

I’m not quite sure where to begin, but I guess this is the first official post for the re-launch of my blog, now titled Lost on the way home. While I have procrastinated my way here (the struggle is real), I finally got it done and I’m a little over-excited to share my content with you. It’s been almost a full year since my last post on my previous blog, Lo and Sparkles, but I can ensure you there is a lot of good stuff to come.

If you’re wandering about the blog title, the name Lost on the Way Home stems from the idea of exploring or “getting lost” in your surroundings. Thus, my blog will act as your personal guide to living well and enjoying life one brunch or cocktail at a time. Whether it’s a list of my favourite ice cream shops in the city, a guide to Le Marais neighbourhood in Paris, an outfit post, or a new recipe, my blog is here to provide you with endless inspiration.

Without further ado, here is my first outfit post. The dress I’m wearing is the Wilfred Free Nori  dress from Aritzia’s fall collection. It’s one of my absolute favourite pieces which you can take into the cooler autumn days by layering a leather jacket over top or pairing with your favourite skinny jeans for a Canadian tuxedo look. I cannot stress enough that a leather jacket is a true investment piece, which will carry you through every season. I recently got this Mackage Rumer Jacket at Aritzia and while it took me a couple months to cave (it’s on the pricier side), I have no regrets as I slip on the buttery leather and feel it get softer with each wear.
