Get Lost: Glory Juice Co. in Mt. Pleasant

Glory Juice Co.

My days off lately have been pretty glorious thanks to moving to a new(ish) city and being able to explore a bunch of restaurants and spots to feature on the blog. This week I ventured over to the Mt. Pleasant neighbourhood, which I’ve never really had the chance to wander since moving home to Vancouver. Let me tell you! I think if I had to pick an area to live in Vancouver, it would be this one. With a lot of new shops and places opening up, it would definitely be at the top of my list.

Anyways, I decided to check out Glory Juice Co. because I am constantly on the hunt for a good smoothie bowl. Upon entering the brick-walled bodega I was immediately impressed with the décor (think marble backsplash and drop pendant lighting) and found myself ogling the menu. I ordered an Organic Tropical Bowl and three juices to try over the week. Needless to say the bowl was delicious. Included in the mix were frozen Acai berries, mango, blueberries, fresh bananas, pineapple, mint, and bee pollen topped off with their amazing nutty GF in-house granola, made from the leftover Almonds they use to make their own almond mylk (and, it’s all GF and 100% organic).

In addition to this location they’ve set up shop in Kits as well as a place in Arbutus Ridge. They also deliver all around Vancouver and West Vancouver and offer a series of juice cleanses. I would recommend the Mt. Pleasant location if you want a nice place do work on your laptop (they have Wifi), plus they have very friendly staff!
